Anonymous asked: Back to the Future. Thoughts?
Where do I begin…Back to the Future is not just a movie, but to me, a representation on how bad ass movies were in the 80’s. But with Back to the Future, you not only get this nostalgic feel for the 1980’s, but also the roaring 50’s.
Marty McFly is an awesome protagonist, and let’s face it…everyone wants to be cool like him. Just look at his awesome wardrobe. A red skiing vest? Come on, GENIUS! As cool as Marty is, Doc Brown steals the show. He’s zany and slightly crazy, but you can help but love him. He like that awesome uncle that you see once or twice a year.
What makes this movie such a classic is the somewhat disturbing yet hilarious things Marty get’s himself into. But these are the things that make this movie a classic.
Lets do a run down of what happens to Marty:
1.) Needs to go back to 1985
2.) Screws up the Space Time Continuum
3.) Has to make his mother (age 18) fall in love with his father
4.) Needs to NOT have his mother fall in love with him
5.) Needs to take care of a Bully
6.) Needs to find Doc Brown, fix the time machine before he is erased from existence.
And to make matters worst, this ALL needs to be fixed and completed on the same night. CRAZY SAUCE!
The movie is amazing. If you haven’t watched it yet, I highly recommend you watch it, along with the two sequels that follow.
…and that’s THE POWER OF LOVE
